Hello.
I am a friendly and super flexible graphic designer, UX/UI thinker, and creative director based in South East London. I have over 25 years experience in the creative design process, working in both on and offline environments with a hugely diverse range of clients.Work.
In the past I have worked in house at all levels from designer to design director at a number of London agencies, winning numerous awards. Since 2004 I have worked for myself in a freelance capacity, from my home, and more recently I have joined with my husband, a branding, identity and naming specialist, in creating a company of two, Mr & Mrs Peate Limited , to explore new creative opportunities.Experience.
I have taken the creative lead on a huge range of design projects in my career, most of which have had their beginnings in online communications. These diverse projects include branding and logo design, marketing campaigns, corporate communications, user interface and usability, cross platform user experience, infographics and illustration.Skills.

I put creative strategy right at the centre of my work. Bringing new ideas and creative leadership to every project allows me to offer my clients a strategic and focussed approach to their communication needs. I have an extensive knowledge of the design process as a whole, and am highly skilled in the areas of typography, brand communication, user experience, journey planning and visual design for all online environments. More importantly, I am friendly, flexible and honest and am passionate about helping all of my clients deliver highly creative and business focussed communications across all of their brand channels.Not design.
Outside of my design work, I love to paint and draw. I have a deep and ongoing fascination with the visual relationship between order and chaos and the natural world around us. I explore these ideas in my paintings using colour and shape. You can see recent work in progress from my studio or view my finished painted works on my website. I have a never ending love of the outdoors, a fascination with plants and nature, and am a keen walker, often to be found exploring the Kent countryside at weekends with my husband and greyhound, Dave.Hello back.
